This heavy piece makes a statement. With backlight it has beautiful colours.

Slag Glass soapdish

This weighty piece was bought in DC after attending the American Glass Collectors annual conference. I found a woman who had a number of slag glass pieces. Apparently during the war she had collected it during the war in England and then it someone got sold largely to this person.

Deco glass mushroom

This is the first piece of glass that I ever bought. Fortunately when buying it I was told that it was part of an estate. The owners had gone to London in the 20's and had bought a container load of items for their home to be. It was a common occurence in that time. I was intrigued by the colour combination and was from there wanted to learn more. It was to lead me on many journeys of glass.

Whitefriars coffin vase

This collectible piece of whitefriars is a nice example of the coffin vase. It is in a no colour green and stands 15 cm high

French Glass vase

These two vases were found separate however are an identical match. It has a dramatic sun motiff and are particularly heavy.

Slag Glass

This glass is sometimes called End of Day however it was produced in Sowerby (north of England) for 20 years from roughly the 1870's to the early 1890's. The unattractive name makes it all the more appealing. It is dense and heavy and definitely one of my favorite.

This piece was sold to me through Maker's Mark and was ostensibly inspired by the Ring Cycle.

Kirra gallery list this piece as a hot glass bud vase with 23 ct gold leaf wrap. It stands approx. 17 cm high.

Lynne Haines vase

I do not know anything about the glass artist but I do find it a
most appealling piece. If anyone knows anything then I would appreciate hearing.

Stands approx. 21 cm high.

Sevre glass seal

This particularly beautiful piece with clear ball and frosted bodice stands approx. 15.5 cm high.

It works exceptionally well with backlight as it is such a deep colour.

Davidson bowl with frog

A fully intact bowl and frog. It has a width of approx. 23 cm. and stands 9 cm. high
